34 Week Photos!

We had a great appointment today.  The doc said everything looks perfect, praise the Lord! Baby boy was even head-down for the ultrasound, so that's a good sign.  He is 5 1/2 lbs right now, which is the 57th percentile. If he gains 1/2 lb per week like they predict, he'll be about 8 1/2 lbs on his due date.  Below you can see a photo of his calf and foot, as well as 2 of the side profile of his head.

Also, on Monday we went to College Station to visit family. Here's a belly-to-belly photo of Signe and me and our growing bellies/boys. As you can see, I've been growing exponentially recently!  She's currently 29 weeks pregnant with her 3rd boy and looking fantastic. We can't wait for all these Jansen-family Texas boys to play together!

Almost 33 Weeks

Time is flying and this baby boy is definitely growing! Below is an updated photo for those who are interested.   I can't believe we're less than 8 weeks away from his due date now (April 26). We still haven't decided on a name - hopefully we'll have one before he makes his appearance.

I've been feeling good for the most part. Just some fatigue here and there. A good example was tonight in church - I had the just the bare minimum energy to either stand OR sing, but definitely not both at the same time. But overall I can't complain...I've been very blessed so far and continue to hope he just stays inside as long as possible through to the end!

He is kicking harder than ever now - it's crazy to feel him kicking and stretching and flipping around. His party seems to get started right about 10:30 every night...just like clockwork. I actually pushed down on the bottom of his foot the other day (in trying to push him out of my ribs) and Phillip palmed his head another night. It's very cool and strange to actually feel specific body parts.  He seems to be transverse (lying side-to-side) most of the time, so hopefully he figures out that he needs to be head-down before the end. We have an ultrasound in a week and a half (at 34 weeks), so I'll post some pics of that.   Hopefully we'll be able to see something in it and hopefully all will look good with his health!

Thanks for all the continued thoughts, prayers, and support.
